I have been trading the stock market for over a decade, thinking I was a hot shot in 2000 I blew 70% of my net worth making gambles on incredibly overvalued “Hot Tech stocks” who never knew the meaning of making a profit. I just about survived that bubble by finally coming to the conclusion I needed to take time out and wait for the market to recover. But not just that, I realized there was an incredible gap in my knowledge. I had attended numerous costly seminars and trading courses, but I had not really learned what it takes to trade well. I did not understand fundamentals, the economic climate and really what works in technical analysis.
Hundreds of books and thousands of trades later I am a Certified “Member of the Society of Technical Analysts” which involved studying the finest minds in Technical Analysis over the last 200 years. But Technical Analysis alone will not save you. So many books either focus on Charts “or” on Fundamental Analysis.
